1. Who operates ScreenshotKit
ScreenshotKit is owned and operated by Maaz bin Hassan. This notice applies to the website at www.screenshotkit.online, the browser editor, and the premium template-pack purchase flow. ScreenshotKit does not currently require an account or use your purchase information for email marketing.
2. Screenshots and project data
Uploaded screenshots, background images, project settings, and generated thumbnails are processed in your browser and stored in its browser storage. Exports are rendered from the local canvas and packaged in your browser. ScreenshotKit does not receive the images, text, project names, or editing choices you add to the editor.
3. Website requests and analytics
Our hosting provider may process standard request and security data, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. Vercel Web Analytics records limited, aggregated usage data such as page views, route, referrer, general location, device type, operating system, and browser. We use this data to understand site performance and usage; we do not use custom events to submit your editor content or payment details.
4. Paddle purchases
Paddle is the merchant of record for template-pack purchases. Paddle processes information needed for checkout, fraud prevention, payment, tax calculation, order fulfilment, and receipts, which may include your name, contact details, location, billing information, and payment details. Paddle may provide ScreenshotKit with transaction and product information needed to fulfil and support your order. ScreenshotKit sends the Paddle transaction ID to its server to verify or restore the correct pack, but does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Paddle handles this information under its own privacy policy.
5. Advertising and cookies
ScreenshotKit loads Google AdSense technology. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure advertising, depending on your settings, consent choices, and applicable law. This may involve device identifiers, IP address, browser information, ad interactions, and cookie identifiers. Learn more in Google's advertising privacy information. Browser controls and Google's ad settings may let you limit or remove these cookies.
6. Local storage and retention
Browser storage keeps your projects, preferences, template-pack ID, and Paddle transaction ID on your device until you delete projects or clear this site's data. Private browsing modes may remove this data when the session ends. The restore form lets you verify the same Paddle transaction on another browser. Hosting, analytics, advertising, and payment providers retain information under their own policies and legal obligations.
7. Sharing and international processing
We use service providers only for operating the website, aggregated analytics, advertising, checkout, order verification, and customer support. These providers may process information in countries other than yours under their own safeguards and legal obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer. ScreenshotKit does not independently sell your project content or payment details.
8. Your choices and rights
You can delete local projects or clear site data through your browser. You can also manage cookies and advertising preferences through your browser and Google settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Requests about Paddle-held buyer information should be directed to Paddle; other privacy questions may be submitted through the ScreenshotKit support link below.
9. Children, contact, and changes
ScreenshotKit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. For privacy questions, open a private-data-free request in the ScreenshotKit support repository; never post screenshots, receipts, transaction IDs, or other personal information in a public issue. We may update this notice when our practices change, and the date above identifies the current version.
